Copyright & Takedown Policy

Our position on third-party content

LeaguePages is a directory of grassroots and non-league football data. To make that directory useful we display some imagery and short text drawn from third-party sources, including:

  • Club badges, crests and league logos shown alongside the club or league they identify.
  • Player photographs supplied by clubs or sourced from publicly available match imagery.
  • Venue and ground photography.
  • Short headlines and excerpts of news stories, each clearly attributed to the original source and linking back to it.

We rely on the UK fair-dealing exceptions for reporting and review and on equivalent fair-use principles. We do not claim ownership of any third-party trade mark, badge, photograph or article excerpt. The rights remain with the original owner.

Requesting removal or correction

If you are a rights holder (or acting with their authorisation) and you would like us to remove, replace or correct an item, please contact us at hello@leaguepages.com with the subject line "Copyright takedown request".

To process the request as quickly as possible, please include:

  1. Your full name, organisation, role and direct contact details.
  2. A clear identification of the work concerned (a URL on leaguepages.com is best).
  3. A statement that you own the rights or are authorised to act on the rights holder's behalf.
  4. The action you are requesting: removal, replacement, or attribution change.
  5. If applicable, a replacement asset (for example, an updated official crest) you would like us to use instead.

We aim to acknowledge takedown enquiries within two working days and to resolve genuine requests within seven working days of receiving the information needed.

Counter-notices

If material you submitted has been removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address. Include the same identifying information together with a statement of why you believe the removal was a mistake. We will review counter-notices in good faith.

Repeat infringement

We will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate access for users or contributors who repeatedly submit material that infringes the rights of others.

DMCA notices (US rights holders)

US rights holders may submit a notice in the form set out by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c). Please include the statements required by that section, including your good-faith belief that the use is not authorised and your statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate. Send to hello@leaguepages.com.

Trade marks

Club crests, league logos and similar marks are the registered or unregistered trade marks of the clubs and competitions that own them. We display them only to identify the club or competition in question. Nothing on LeaguePages should be read as a claim of ownership over those marks or as implying any sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation by the trade-mark owner.

Other questions
